In analytics if someone doesn’t go into other of your web pages it shows as a “bounce” and has session of 0s. To verify that this is an issue u can test yourself by creating some other page and navigating from it to different page on your website. Then under content tab in analytics you should be able to clearly see your activity

no i dont think so, analytics still can count visit time. whether it counces it as bounce or not it doesnt matter, but im sure some of them stayed some time on page. and it still shows 0

You know... the world does not end on google analytics ;) Also idk what you are doing with your project but judging that you want to analyze stuff like time on site etc. have u considered using any visitor recording solutions?

That is normal, as google has a strange way in counting sessions.
Basically if a visitor comes to your site and stays on a page for a couple of minutes than google will countit as 0 sessions as the user has not visited another page.
Just ignore that metric it is irrelevant

They might be bots. If you see spikes of 0 sec traffic, then there is a high chance that they are bots.

As mentioned above, they are 100% bots.
Analytics works well, If they were real people, it would have counted the time on the page just like the UV

If the content of your page or posts are short, say 200 words, then you'll get that.

If the content is long and the reader does not scroll down much, then you'll get that.

You can install the following plugin to help out:

Reduce bounce rate by okoth

Configure it right and you should have lower bounce rate

Session time is based on user activity on your site. Maybe because of irrelevant traffic or website content. Improve content quality, interlink related pages and add images and videos in possible places.

Is it traffic from a specific source? Sounds like a link is getting some traffic but your site is not what they want to see

have you filtered the bot traffic in analytics? visit + low or no session time + high bounce rate is typical for bots
