Almost 1000 subs but only 662 publich watch hours

My Channel will get to 1000 subs soon but the watch hours on the videos is so low.

What can be done to improve?

All the subs are natural.

i don't really think this is the solution.

Other people will answer " do a better SEO" i guess.. that is not useful at all

How old is your channel?

Well this number also depends on how long your videos are and how many videos you have.
I think for a legit account with only 1000 subs this number is totally fine.

How long are your videos?

I have about 1150 sub and lifetime watch hour 1575, don't know when i will complete 4k watch hour

keep posting long good quality videos daily ..

i don't know when i will reach 1000 subscribers.. its long way for me

The longest is 30 minutes, I think I should start uploading longer Videos

"Will buying views increase my watch time?"

Simple: make long videos that are interesting enough, so many people will view them until the end.

I don't wanna open a thread about it, but does it count if I open multiple tabs and watch long videos of mine?
For example if I watch a 1 hour video from 4 different tabs, will it count as 4 hours?

Congrats on nearing to reach 1000 Subs mark. If your videos are at least 5-8 min long, you will get more hours. Btw how much is your average what time per view ?

The reason for my answer is pretty clear, I hope you can guess that for yourself. And yes the solution for his problem is that he needs to upload more videos without the lazy mentality. No one here gave a helpful answer, so I will do that really quick.

The algorithm: CTR and Audience Retention is the most important thing. Make clickbait or eye catching thumbnails that the viewer wants and make the first 5 minutes of the video as engaging and interesting as possible, the next 5 minutes you just stretch the content.

Your target CTR is above 10% and Audience Retention 4 - 5 Minutes.

Step 1: Keyword Research
You need to research when your channel is little! Find relevant keywords in you niche.

Use YouTube's search to get a picture on what is relevant at the moment.

Step 2: Video creation
Begin the video with a question etc. do not introduce yourself! Talk as simple as possible and with high energy.
Adobe.com, download premiere pro and photoshop, watch tutorials on how to edit the videos and thumbnails.

Step 3: Uploading
Write a description above 500 words, either post what you said at the beginning of the video with all the keywords or give the viewers the informations about what they are going to watch. Put some video links of competitors that are ranking for your keyword in there.

Make 5 - 10 Videos and you will get monetized in ca. 2 month, don't stop uploading.

Longer videos.

I don’t know what your niche is but see what’s trending in it. Once you find that making a video relating to it with the targeting trending topic keywords in it. You can create whatever video you like but if you create a video on something people are searching for you have a better chance of being found which will increase your watch time. Who knows, maybe you could even go viral with some luck.
