Sometimes a member might not be comfortable asking a query here as it can be associated with his profile. Having an option to post anonymously will be a good option for this. Possible ?

Can't think of a situation where it would be useful. If people are too embarrassed to post then it probably isn't a worthwhile question.
Having said that, I do regularly get PM's from people asking for advice and I try to help them but I always say it would have been better if they posted a thread where they could get more help and input.

You can PM a Moderator if you're unsure about something, prior to posting a thread. Or as @Asif WILSON Khan mentions the Execs have a great pool of knowledge and have been on here a good few years too.

Having an anonymous posting option leaves it open to abuse, spam and other actions which may not be appreciated thus leading to more work for Mods to clear up.
Just my personal opinion.

on a marketing forum, this would lead to spam city haha

If I have a question I don't want shown publicly I just find the most senior member who has knowledge on the subject and pm them.

I've done this several times and always had a positive response from them. Even if they couldn't help they usually try to point me in the right direction.

Have a query related to this ? The users making those anonymous posts made on Quora cannot be seen by the staff there as well ?

This isn't Quora though.
While giving the suggestion, I thought it was obvious that moderators will be able to see the user making the post. I have no idea of how that works at places this feature is used.

You mean like when they are pretending to be a crypto millionaire, but really need to work out how to make $5 a week online.
