Ordered some copywriting through the copyrighting forum. While the customer service and turn-around time was very commendable, the writing was sub-optimal to say the least. I was not expecting them to have the literary prose of a Harvard grad, but overall, I was seriously unimpressed with the quality of writing.

I don't want to submarine anyone's writing business on here, but kind of amazed how bad the writing was, given the feedback from other users who also placed orders.

You're allowed to post a negative review just like you're allowed to post a positive review in someone's BST thread.

As long as you remain truthful in your review and don't resort to name-calling or libel, the review will not be removed.

Just a tip for when you do post your review, it helps to highlight both the pros and cons.

Did you post the negative review on their thread?

Well if it's an honest review then it should be ok, better for members to have a balanced view of a service so they can make up their own mind. You'd do it on Amazon or eBay, why not here?

Because we're all friends, now come in and give me a hug! Closer, my arms are short...

SensualTyranosaur. ROFL what a username.

Thanks for feedback guys. I will leave an honest straight forward review in the interest of helping other people on here with finding service companies that are right for them.

Just saying.

The examples you gave in your review are present on their sells copy as well.
If the sells thread says "premium quality content" it doesn't mean it is true.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience but it is up to you to do your own due diligence.
Also, ask for a revision. It is stated on their sells page. And since there are obvious grammar errors they should fix those at least.

No revision required as the level of their writing so bad. Bad writing doesn't suddenly improve because I asked for a revision. They simply don't know how to write in native English which is ok, if that's what someone is looking for.

I agree I should have done more due diligence on that one. For the cost of one small article, I felt it was worth a shot to see what kind of quality is there for a thread which had so many 'thumbs up' showing. Lost some lunch money and I did learn something from the experience, which I probably should have known already given my experience in other areas of business over the years. Live and learn. :)
