Allow Newbie to create only one thread per day.

To the mods and the owners, 99% spam threads are opened by newbies as we're seeing now that idiot bab ajii has opened 100 threads with duplicate accounts, I known mods will clear it up, but I feel there is a greater need for implementing a one day thread rule for newbies and limit their posts to 5 - 10 per day. Gradually the limit may decrease over few days. It's just a suggestion to stop spam here.

Sounds great. But auto posters would create more bots. If in any way we could hold them off from appearing on the home feed - that might discourage them.

This can be counter-productive until the account creation process is this easy as it is now. It's a lot easier to delete all posts from a single user or ban a single user than deleting multiple posts from multiple different users or ban multiple different users. Because if you allow newbies only one thread, they will attack with an army of accounts, at least this is what i'd do, if it weren't BHW, but WF. lol

What about having a team of spam moderators, pooled from VIPs, with the ability to temporarily sandbox such obvious spam threads as soon as they appear? The moderators could then take appropriate action when they arrive on the scene

I think every member should only be able to make at MAX 5 threads per day. There's really no reason to make more and I see so many people making new threads all the time with very basic questions. Just wanting to be spoonfed and they bump the thread 24/7. It's pretty annoying seeing the same guy asking basic questions on the front page at all times.

I agree, but I'd say 1 or maximum 2 threads per day - I can't see any reason why you would need to create more.

OP meant not all the users with "Newbie" title, but users who just joined.
