Hello friends,

I created a subreddit on a certain niche, where I am looking to give value and content about the niche, and with a comment posted some affiliate offer. The question is, I saw that I have the option to allow others to post and comment or no one to post and can only view.

In my case which is more convenient. I am completely new to this, sorry if the question is stupid.

You can leave it with comments enabled to see how the community reacts.

If you start to notice bad comments, just delete them and disable comments.

A good strategy would be to only allow positive comments from some of your alt accounts.

worst case you might get spammed to death, so just
keep an eye out

I'd say read more on automod, you'd be surprised how much it can filter out if you set it up correctly, instead of just blocking everyone from posting.
