Allintitle: vs SERP which to use? KGR

I am doing the KGR method. Often times i find keywords that have few articles when i search the term with allintitle: but when i just do a regular search i get alot more results that are not identical to the search term but are similar.

Would it still be worth it to go after these keywords o rank even tho SERP shows alot more competition than Allintitle? I plan to title my articles the same as the Allintitle.

A few days ago I was asking myself the same questions when I saw two conflictive comments from people whose opinions I respect a lot on everything that has to do with keyword research. So, I opened a thread.

tbh that thread made me more confused and made kgr bad lol. I suppose it's like PBNs in the sense that it could make a killing if it fits certain criterias. It works when it hits the following check box:

Does it have high DA site when you search it? [ ]

If it doesn't and sites like quora or pinterest came out then it's a good keyword to go for. But based on the KGR services here on bhw most of the KGR keywords have high authority on them lol.

Then again you have threads like this that rank a site with 200 organic traffic without any backlinks supposedly with KGR. I guess sometimes luck plays apart too.

To be honest, that thread I opened confirmed something I already knew.

KGR is NOT bad, not bad AT ALL!!

It highly depends on how you use it.

You can´t just use the KGR method as your ONLY criteria when selecting what keywords to target. Especially, when determining the keyword level of competition.

Even then, when running an SERP analysis to assess a keyword true competition I look at some of those top DA pages and run a backlink profile analysis and, I´ve encounter many of them have really crappy links profiles. Which, wouldn´t be as hard to outrank with a proper white/gray hat link building campaigns.

Not undervalue the weight social media platforms have. Especially, since Google's last updates.

But, I agree they should be rather easy to outrank with a better piece of content that is optimized for SEO.

I highly don´t think "luck" has anything to do with that.
