All rankings gone but still indexed

I have a review site with more than 50 high quality reviews that vanished last night. It ranked in top 10 (with several top rankings) of more than 50 small kw's - had around 200 visitors a day. It's still indexed using the site: operator.

Facts:
Aged 4-5 years
No Adsense. Use Analytics and Webmaster tools (no messages from Google).
Heavily direct SB blasted. Started doing that in december and has kept doing it every month or so. Trying to spread it out.

It's still indexed and is sitting around #220 to #380 on all kws it was previously ranking for. It ranked #5 for it's own domain name - after I blasted it was number #1. This is the only ranking position it still has and still #1.

1. Was it a manual review?
2. Will it come back?
3. Is there a cure?

Keep on linking with high PR stuff. You may need to look over anchor diversity, deep links and things of this nature too... Also, Scrapebox may or may not have good sources ie, bad neighborhoods so it's best to find High PR Low OBL (low outbound links) for your comments.

Get some contextual blog links in the same numbers as comments, or thereabouts, web 2.0 pyramids in the same numbers and SOME articles for backlinks and it will most likely recover nicely, eventually. As long as you are not de-indexed or manually penalized....

That is not good man. You are killing your website.

Use web 2.0 and blast them, then link to your main site...

You should say goodbye to your site now because it will be deindexed soon
 
Most probably a G dance so give it a week or so to see if the rankings return. In the mean time start adding diverse types of links.
 
Of course I hope it's not temporary but my thought is it's a manual review - it looks like it. Thank you guys for your inputs - they will be considered. I'll get back to you if it recovers and what I did.
 
How long has it been since you last blasted it? That could tell you if it is dancing or not.
 
3-4 weeks ago and that was a dripblast lasting 5 days. It has never danced before always steady and rising in ranks. I've been using an automation tool the last couple of weeks. Gotten a couple of links from that. Guestbooks, blogs etc. Nothing huge.
 
This happened to me last night also, and sadly it sounds like a panda slap. My traffic is down 85% from yesterday
 
If you are not deindexed i think 99% you will get back. Now it's very important to build more and more backlinks.. so google can see how your site is still interesting for many people. ;)
 
I can't seem to understand why anyone would blast their site with scrapebox... FFS people! lol

As stated before, if you are to blast anything it should always be web 2.0 or articles.
 
You blasted the crap out of your main domain, what would you expect to
happen?

Having said that, you are likely in for a bumpy ride for the next few months.
You'll bounce around like crazy, regain your rankings for a few days, and then
plummet again.

What you need to do is build diversity into your SEO campaign. That means the
type of links, the anchor texts you use, and the URLs you are backlinking. Make
sure that you don't just use optimized anchor text either, that looks entirely
unnatural!
 
You need to build tiers brother...Get some 2.0's and high PR links between your cheap high volume links and your money site.

He may, but it could literally be a year....I've seen it.
 
I'm gonna give it some more SB + bought wiki links. If it's going to hell, it's gonna go down with a big bang :-)
