All posts and categories internally linked from the menu

When I manage to structure my website's menu in such a way that it includes all posts and categories, doesn’t that essentially mean that all pages on the website are internally linked + every page has a homepage link (just by doing that)? Isn’t that the best way to do it? Of course, along with contextually relevant internal links within the content. But this way, there are definitely no orphan pages, am I right?

Menu's, related posts and breadcrumbs are treated differently, and hold less SEO value than "true" internal links. (Navigational)

Internal "in-content" links are the most powerful.
