I don't post much here because I'm still soaking up all this goodness and letting it marinate but I wanted to give all the noobs out there some encouragement and suggestions on how to overcome a lot of the problems of just starting out.

Here are some things to avoid at all cost.

1.) Information overload. That's been a problem since the dawn of IM and continues to be a problem. The technology has changed somewhat but it seems that at any point in time there are people who take advantage of that and people who use it as their excuse of why things are difficult. I call this the ATM mentality where they expect more money to come out then they put in. Just doesn't work that way unless your doing something illegal.

2.) Relying on other people to lay out an exact course for them and give them the courage that they are lacking.

The biggest lesson I've learned about IM over the years is that YOU are the only person with the control and responsibility to achieve your results.

I see this as having 2 main parts:

1 - The fear of making mistakes.

2 - Uncertainty about how to make things work.

The fear is natural but can be paralyzing. In my experience - the times that I've made big leaps forward have been due to learning from mistakes. There was a reason that Michael Jordan shot free throws and jumpers in the gym while everybody else was laying around there hotel rooms having orgies, it's because practice makes perfect but even before you know what to practice you have to be willing to make mistakes first. There is no avoiding it so jump out there and do the best you can and also don't be afraid to ask questions. Just make sure that you do some research first.

The biggest tip I can give all newbies is to study the subject of Reverse Engineering. This will allow you to short cut a lot of pain and wasted money. If you find someone selling a site for $15,000 on Flippa, study what he or she did and learn how to replicate their results. This has been the secret of corporations for years and it literally saves them hundreds of millions of dollars in savings.

I want you to watch this video of myself doing Dance Revolution. I spent hundreds of dollars and countless hours practicing this game for the simple fact that someone at school told me that because I was fat and stout I couldn't beat the High score. I even told the prettiest girl at school which I had a crush on to show up because I wanted to impress her. Look at me now, I achieved the highest score and even though everybody laughed at me, I knew I had set a goal and achieved it in the process. Don't ever give up. I hope this helped you out and may you have continued success in the future my friends.

I also want to say that Frank Kern said it best in one of the List Control modules that "Do as I do, not as I say". If you've been suckered into buying a thousand ebooks, courses, ect... then you should already know that the only people making money is the "Gurus" themselves. It's time to let go of the scatterbrain mentality and pick an area, become a guru yourself and then market your expertise. Good Luck.

Ninja! if that's you on the video I think you are very brave and i hope that girl notice that to, you deserve it. I myself is just diagnosed with a desease called ADD (Attention Dificit Disorder) which has been pretty tough to learn about myself. Basically not the best desease to have if you fight with or against procrastination at times. However now I know why i haven't been able to complete stuff that i started. There is a chemical that i don't produce in my brain that makes me block knowledge especially the simplest of it. I need concreteness in details to understand alot of areas. Motivation is often gone and i have to lie to myself to get things done which is pretty hard at times. Right now I'm riding my home training bike without motivation but i know it can help me understand better and it will make me create the chemical that i need.

Anyway I like your thread I hope it will work out for you.

Goodluck bebbe

I am part of few CPAs but dont know where to start before I start promoting them.
I have a domain sitting pretty without anything.
Dont know what should I do first.I am seeing many peoples having many clicks and none of them converting.

Hey Buddy, thinks for your encouragement. I really admire your understanding of your situation and what your doing to work around it. It just makes you stronger in the long run. If you're having problems focusing, then there is a piece of software that is in the downloads section that you can input your goals and milestones into it and it reminds you to reach each one of them and really keeps you on track to accomplish your goals. I'll try to find the name of it. Anyways, keep going strong and like I said, find a area that you know people are successful at and replicate their success. Goodluck.

I tried out with youtube and ************** but conversions are aweful.
I hardly make more than a 1$ a day.
I just wonder what are those people in those ebooks claiming they make this this each day using this simple system whereas if I implement the same system no one bothers to even click on the link.I dont know why.

Hey there...You nailed it pretty much right... Real value for the noobs out here..

Hey Cybermeid, I don't know what kind of promotion your doing to your website or how your cpa landing page looks like but the thing that is true about cpa advertising is that not all offers are created equal. There are literally hundreds or even thousands of other people promoting that same offer you are so it really takes some creativity to know how to promote it. But the good thing is that once you do find a winner you can really take home some good cash. It's all about the testing. If you're just looking for short term cash then you will never achieve long term success in IM. My first martial arts teacher use to tell me, "Don't chase too many rabbits at the same time, you'll end up with nothing." It rings true in the IM world just as well. Look at what your doing and ask yourself, How could I promote this differently. Perhaps, there are a certain amount of people that are searching directly in Big G for your cpa product name itself? Maybe that would help you tweek your advertising a little? Who knows, try it out and see what happens.

Beverly Hills Ninja was a funny movie :)

You GO White Ninja! :You_Rock_

Thanks my fellow nooblet. We will all make it together, don't feel alone and discouraged. There are no mistakes, only learning tools as I like to say.

One more thing which is not working out for me is SEO.
Tried many automatic directory submitter like backlink speed. But my site is no where to be see even if I registered the exact domain name as that long tail keyword search term.
Is SEO really possible.Ie appearing in the first page of Google for a long tail search term?

It's definitely possible because people are doing it everyday. What you have to ask yourself is how much are you willing to do to achieve that result? Treat IM like a hobby and it will always be a hobby. Treat it like a business and save up for all the software you need and you will have business like profits. It's a no brainer, so no need to stress out because your not making any money. Just be chill untill you get all the tools of the trade and then go to town promoting. Treat this stage like a university of sorts, consider it your training ground and you will turn out just fine.

I dont have any job,IM is the only way out of the mess which I am currently in.
I will test out some SEO stuff. One more question about the website creation part for promoting CPA offers.
Is it advisable to run adsense ads in the site where I am promoting the CPA and clickbank products? Also should I make the site like a blog with frequent posts updated daily or should I make it like a Sales page kind of landing page without the Spammy blog look?

Just ask yourself what you would want to see if you were interested in such a product. Remember, these people are either looking for a particular product to try out or they are just curious and say "What the heck, I'll give it a shot" What things about the motivated group would make them want to try it out? Those people are already locked, cocked, and ready to go, what would push them over the edge? Do you think just a standard cpa page would do it? Your going to have to get in there and get your hands dirty. Get out of your own head and into your targets heads. They are looking for proof. Give it to them with a pre-sale page and you will have put yourself way ahead of all the other noobs out there.

So should I promote a 1 page kind of Sales page.
I am good at PHP,HTML and wordpress.
But I am stuck at should I make a Sales page like those gurus who sell their products online.
Or should I have a simple blog.
Also should I include adsense ads in the site where I am promoting it

Having a blog is a great idea because they are easy to set up. You can make a really nice pre-sale page on that blog and have it lead to the cpa offer page. If your site has good content it will do good in the serps with good promotion over time. Of course, there are ways to speed up this process but you'll have to look that up here by using the search button :p

Great info.
but get real people. that isnt him in the video...
