Well it could of been too much link building, there are 2 important considerations here so far,
1 - natural boost for new pages - this is true, but they stick if some parameters are meet, I should off started with better content from the start.
2 - anchor text diversity and link targets - I think these where my main problems, I'm starting to think that diversity in anchor text and linking to internel posts not to the homepage is key for an EMD to rank,
I'm checking this out as we speak, I registered a new EMD for the same keyword and I stripped the old site content, adding youtubepress as new source of content, so it as scheduled only videos until the end of the month, all 404's now redirect to main page, main page as a 2000 word unique article, all other pages (tos/eula/contact/privacy) are there also.
Now the new EMD already has a central article posted, this will be the main article, now I'll be building social bookmark links to both sites, I will then scrap box with .edu lists the social bookmark profiles, according to what I expect the new EMD should enter directly to second page, once its there I'll add a lot of unique good content + video + doc share.
currently my last move was a lot of doc share and backlinking to those, this resulted on 2nd and 3rd page results for keyword on docshare pages, they're ranking better then the emd they point to, I expect google to catch up onto this soon, I've changed the url structure to http://www., google still gives me non-www result.
I think I'm rushing it and that I'm going to comeback really strong in a couple of weeks, I'll finish both sites nonetheless with different approuches regarding linking and content and see if I did overdoo it or not.
My guess is that I have some kind of penalty going on, strangely this is not sandbox, amybe some content penalty or some anchor text over optimization I would say.
Thank you all for your support, keep the ideias flowing, I'll keep updating.
