All my competitors use the same PBN?

Hi,

I used Moz's link intersect tool and have found that my competitors are all using the same blogspot based blog network.

I'm new to this, isn't this strange + what does this suggest? And, most importantly how can I take advantage of this?

are you sure you are reading the result correctly?!

if so, maybe it is a single competitor that owns multiple websites and uses the same set of PBN to power them up; which is unlikely due to leaving behind a footprint.

how many sites are you talking about?

These are local business websites. It's highly unlikely the same person did the website for all 3.

I've managed to find 6 blogspot sites, let's say ABC are my 3 competitors (that also directly compete with each other + B is larger than both the others) the sites give out links as so:

1 - BC
2 - BC
3 - BC
4 - BC
5 - BD
6 - CD

If it is a PBN it is very rare to have it exposed. Maybe it's TIER2 blogs?

If your able to find it with a toolset I would conclude that there level of expertise in this particular area of SEO " PBN" is not worth your time. If they are seeing a boost from there practice then reverse engineer and utilize for yourself while overstanding there position.

It could be the same person/seo expert who has these pbns or sold it to your competitors.

However, are you sure they aren't using other links ? I get the feeling these could be T2 links.

I work in home improvement as a small guy but all the big guys use the same PBNs and it's kind of funny. I think they all used to the same company to do it or the company that did it reached out to them and their competitors. I don't have nearly the same budget or resources but on paper, they don't have a huge advantage. It's really poor quality content sometimes that I laugh. Don't get me wrong they are generating a lot more traffic then myself but I am still learning as I'm way late to the game.
