all my accounts got banned.

This is outright false, don't listen to this crap OP.

Browser footprint, IP type & quality, email, cookies & device ID (if not using antidetect) all matter. Period.

Quality IP's are essential. Don't use VPN's, they are so abused that Reddit knows you're upto no good immediately.

I'm speaking from extensive experience of managing 35-70 accounts at any one time without bans (pretty much). But incase you're in any doubt, the following should also reassure you of the importance of a quality IP address for each account.
thanks for the reply. can i use 4g and turn on airplane mode on and off each time i want to login to a diff account?

you should buy accounts that are trusted with high karma
they are expensive and in my type of business i dont need them high karma or aged.

I was farming accounts on reddit, but not anymore. Reddit uses a system to identify and ban accounts that are created with the same device or IP address
any tips for farming accounts?

use separate browser containers, clear cookies/cache, rotate residential proxies
can it be done in a phone? never had luck with pc

Use an anti detect browser so you can login multiple accounts.
whats the best one that works for reddit?
I was in the same situation — my accounts kept getting banned at first. Later on, I started using an anti-detect browser along with ISP residential proxies, and that’s what finally helped me manage multiple Reddit accounts successfully.
Also, for newly created accounts, try not to post or comment too frequently right away. It’s better to build up some karma first.
I’ve picked up a few tips along the way — let me know if you’d like me to share them.
what anti detect browser did you use and do you use phone or laptop?

Yeah, Reddit’s gotten way stricter lately, they really don’t play when it comes to multi-accounting, especially after their 2024 crackdown. It takes a bit more effort now, but with some clean separation and “act natural” vibes, you can still build and manage multiple accounts. Just... slower. Reddit loves slow.
any suggestions for clean seperation?

Did you use same IP for all accounts?
no. same app yes but diff ips. i use same 4g operator but i switch ips through turning on airplane mode on and off

Need to reassess your setup. If you consistently get different IPs from that aeroplane mode trick then good (I suppose), but the anti-detect browser and similar anti-fingerprinting tools are non-negotiable. Gotta make the profiles are well and truly isolated.

I use MoreLogin and QuarkIP proxies, just pc.

Never thought reddit would be this harsh. im new to it to be honest and after 10 days of creating accounts in reddit app and simply logging out after i have got some karma. everything was banned. even the account that i have used long time ago in my phone. the ban message is sent to my email and shown on the first page when i login. i know i should not have used same apps for registering multiple accs but i thought reddit wouldnt mind haha. any advice on how to seperate and manage reddit accounts on one phone/laptop?
creating a bunch of new accounts in a short amount of time seems to trigger reddits filters as botting, its quite sensitive, even the slightest issue can ban you. others have been banned for just creating it for the first time. you're going to need a new IP, and new device. brave gives some fingerprint shielding, but theres probably better methods.

Morale of the story folks, when an expert on a subject says something they are usually right.

Reddit does not blanket ban IP addresses unless that IP address is proven to be a proxy or VPN. Doesn't matter if this guy has a meltdown about it or not, it's just the way things work.
that isnt true, i dont know why you are spreading misinformation, whenever already experienced ip bans on multiple accounts ahve data to prove it, you claim its not.

they also did major purges around jan-April, it was a multi-month onslaught, the latter part of april they switched to more insidious shadowbans, i think because people were catching on that thier accounts were recieving site-wide bans indiscriminately, from thier AI moderations, so they switch to silent banning. on the shadowban sub where you report your own shadowban, there was a pretty big uptick, not a huge jump but a constant stream of it on the sub.

and then all that upvote, violence, luigi musk moderation fiasco around that time too.

The reason your accounts get blanket banned isn't because of your IP address. It's because your accounts are connected in other ways. This is something that we've methodically tested over and over again with thousands of accounts. I wouldn't mention it here over and over again if I wan't 100% certain about it.

Yeah, Reddit's gotten way stricter lately, especially with alt accounts and anything that looks like “ban evasion” or farming behavior. They don’t just ban the account, they fingerprint your device, IP, cookies, etc. Reddit’s moderation system is semi-automated and brutal once you’re on their radar.

I suggest using anti detect browser + database rotating IP every 30 seconds, it will help evade Reddit ban evasion.

Yeah, Reddit's pretty strict. Using multiple accounts on the same app or device can get flagged fast. Try different browsers or profiles, and avoid farming karma too quickly. You can try appealing, but keeping things separate helps a lot.

Reddit as always.. Learn more how to use reddit before use it

Did they permanently ban you or shadowbanned? I have an account banned yesterday and after resetting password account access was restored. Although I'm not managing up to 10 accs on same device, I am running about 4 accs same device all logged in on the app.
