Hi fellow BHWers,

What happened was all my keywords ranking disappeared from the SERPs. This happened 3 days ago. Website is 8 months old with 82 articles posted. This actually happened with the Google Product update but all of my articles are all informational.

All post are still indexed

All articles are unique and written by me. Also the impressions for some of the keywords that I was ranking before is appearing only on the main page not the actual post.

Did I hit by an algo update? Or is this just a Google dance :D?

For the backlinks, I've made some profile links and web 2.0 contextual links manually and social media profiles. Also a couple of guest post. That's it.

Anybody experienced this before? I'll really appreciate some inputs from you guys.

Probably the last update targeting product reviews on Feb 21st 2023 has hit your website.

Check these resources:

Can you tell us the general niche?

Thanks. I have already checked this and still confused since I don't have any articles which are for product reviews. I'll just wait for weeks or even months and see what will happen.

I missed that point in op that all articles are informational.
Could be a dance and you could wait to see how this turn out in coming days.
Meanwhile you can check the top serp results for the topics and keywords you used to rank for, analyze these results to check the gaps if any.
You can then improve if there are any gaps like maybe something in content, or content structuring and interlinking etc.

dang, that's a hard dropoff! Not good :)

You've either been penalized (possibly by the latest google update), or - worse - you've been deindexed.

Type your site into google and see if any page comes up. If it does, you're good and can recover later on. If no pages comes up... well... someone had a grudge on you and found a way to snitch you to google for google to deindex your site :D

I have the same question, would love to know how to solve it

Pages are still index. Check the OP for the screenshot. Also added a new article and it got indexed after a day. I'm just waiting for the update to fully roll out and wait if there will be some changes.

Have you used any kinda backlink indexing service? or you forced to index articles?

oh yeah, in my proverbial blindness, I somehow missed that screenshot, sorry! But then again, I saw that massive dropoff and wanted to let you know so fast that shit's bad that I completely ignored everything else :D

But shit's not as bad as I thought, so yeah... just wait it out for a while (2 weeks or so), maybe it'll fix it self

Crypto falls into a YMYL niche. Seems to me you just got caught up in that.

Couldn't it be an EAT issue? How are you addressing EAT on your website? Is there an author box under each article?

The most important thing is to continue building links and content for the next 3 months.

Yes I have an author box in each of my articles and I am actually using two authors for this site.

Same has happened to me in the pet niche
Do you have articles with a "Buy" keyword topics?
Same applicable to me.... trying to know more too.
Can you tell us what niche are you in to?

No, i don't have to ''buy'' in any titles. I have some review pages, but 90% informational.
