I have an auto blog and I was told to select cannoical urls. So I'm wondering if it's because of having and auto blog that I was told to do this. Any ideas on this?

Thank you so much for posting that video. It helped me so much, but i have a question.
Since I had some options incorrect on my wordpress blog, I am going through all of my posts (82 in all) and adding custom titles/descriptions. How do I get that to update to the search engines? Do I have to ping them?
