Nice post.
Concerning expired domains - the best ones get picked up by registrars/snap/pool etc before we can get a hold of them, right?

not to be off topic but diego99 if you look around you can come across a few gems, and there are programs that can help you out. Half of what I do is domain investing. I concentrate on long-tail search terms. check search volume in google. you can then set it up on a parking page or redirect to another monetized site/landing page. I have also rented domains out to other sites so they receive traffic from the domain. Another technique I do is search for popular foreign sites and try and buy the .Com, park it, e-mail them telling them I am putting the domain up for sale and thought I would be courteous and give them the first opportunity to purchase it (have unloaded quite a few for some nice change this way). Too many people are stuck on "it has to be 4 letters or less," look at Sedo and you can get a good idea of what's selling, but I do suggest .Com only for investing or getting more traffic. Sorry so long :)

About the traffic trading scripts, the Arrow Trader eXtreme seems to be a popular one for adult sites.
 
Traffic is one of the hardest things to build but once you get this figured out the rest start falling into place fairly quickly...
 
You can build the best money site in the world, but it is useless without traffic.

Traffic and traffic types are the single most important thing in web related ventures.

great info, i'm a noob looking to find ways to increase traffic. Anybody have anymore suggestions on traffic trading scripts that were not mentioned?
