AliExpress question

I'm sorry if this is not the best section for a question like this, but I didn't know where to post it.

Simple question for anyone who knows AliExpress dropshipping.
Can I dropship from any supplier without even contacting them or having a deal or "partnership" with them? Is it just as simple as purchasing the items and use my customers shipping address?

Reason why I'm asking is AliExpress has a "dropshipping" section with electronics and stuff. I wonder why that is. I'm in another niche so I need to get my products from other suppliers and they're not always easy to get a hold of

You dont have to deal with them but you will find your client receiving their customary "thank you" with the price and url stated.

Actually the most headache problem is the shipping/delivery time when you buy products from aliexpress and ship to your customers. It might take too long time before delivery.

Right. According to a person that I spoke with here in China, dropshippers have to find another shipment headed to your destination and get their/your items onboard. That can take a long time.

2 weeks and sometime up to a month taken to ship from China to Europe. But if you want it faster, you could pay the seller to use fedex. Free shipping take a long time to arrive, without tracking number.

Thanks for this tip. I will try it in the future and see if there are reasonable profit margins once I get my designs up.

I sell products sourced on Aliexpress and dropshipped to the buyers. All you need to do is enter the purchaser's name and address on the shipping instructions, and then add an extra note saying this is a dropship order, so please do not include an invoice. This works fine. As mentioned, the main drawback is the long delay between purchase and delivery. Your buyer needs to know they should expect to wait several weeks.
