IMO Amazon converts much better and still can not compare to AliExpress affiliate.
If you are talking about dropshipping vs affiliate marketing, well we are comparing apples and oranges.

Shopify + Ali/eBay dropshipping - SMM (FB,IG, Pinterest, etc)
Woocommerce + Amazon Affiliate - Keyword research + SEO (link building + content optimization) and SEM (AdWords,Bing)
Honestly both has plus and minus. Depends on your approach.
