Aliexpress / Alibaba wholesale

Is it worth to buy item in large quantity (50-100+) at aliexpress or alibaba and than resell on amazon/ebay. I have 5-20k CAD that I would like to invest , or its better to do dropshipping ?

I have no reputations on amazon/ebay, its going to be an issue to sell on those platforms ?

Is there a way to calcul the customs fees ?

Should I avoid to buy electronics on those China websites ?

I absolutely recommend buying in bulk. 50-100 items is a good quantity to start with, without that much risks. The problem with dropshipping is that you have very low profit margins, long shipping times and low to zero customize options.

The fees are set locally, usually you can find them easily by using Google. Any kind of product group has an individual fee. You won't be having issues on these platforms, Amazon costs 40$ a month so. You could also consider selling in your own shop.
