Alibaba, received less than what I Paid for

Posted thread previous in the wrong section. If someone could delete I would be grateful.

My order was suppose to include 1500 pieces and only 1300 pieces were sent. The invoice even says 1300. They buyer also agreed to include extras but didn't send those either. I've contacted him and it's been a day and a half; usually he responds much faster.

Should I open a dispute on Alibaba or go ahead and do a charge back. This is my first order with the supplier.

It's saturday morning in asia now, a day and a half ago it was thursday night. I would give him some more time than 8 working hours to respond.

when you bought the item was there buyer protections, I know only some sellers have that option enabled

Give him one more day to respond or else just file a chargeback. It's really tedious going through alibaba support.

If you didnt use a trade assurance and didnt have inspection you might be in a problem
