Alibaba Apple Products?

If you buy apple from alibaba, all that is going to happen is you'll end up rubbing your magic lamp, with your 3 wishes being "genuine iphones"

I got something from Aliexpress directly through paypal, opting to skip aliexpress because they would not accept paypal. The seller feedback was good, so hopefully they are legit. The seller said they would ship it the first or second day and today is the third day and it still has not been shipped. Hopefully I get backed up if they are running are not serious.

I will give it a few more days and see what happens.

If anyone has products at a good price PM me.

How about an update? Did you get ripped off? A follow-up would be beneficial to others. Thanks.

I am guessing you got ripped off, but let me know if my intuition is right

you'll probably get an "iploxe":

As far as I know, they are all fake. I would be extremely careful. In fact, personaly, wouldn't buy it at all. Maybe some accessories but I know I would be getting a cheap copy too.

Apple only ship to authorized dealers. check that they are authorized...If not is fake

i lost so much money on alibaba, i think its all fake, few weeks later i rememnbr the song alibaba and the forty thieves, and i realized how stupid of me to trust that name or the site

If I were to order iphone 5 cases with a brand name to them. The brand name is lifeproof. Is there anything illegal with buying them from the chinese wholesalers and then selling them as lifeproof iphone cases?

And yes, I am a newbie and I know nothing, I already know that. You have all be in my position and I am asking for advice. Thanks

Yes its illegal and yes if the company finds out they will sue you, these companies now have agents purchasing things on ebay just to test its authenticity, once they know its fake you will get a notice in mail and get sued. its happened to me before with that fake shit. unless you are running a stealth account i would steer clear of selling fake shit on ebay.

100% fakes. (I am familiar with Alibaba) There is also a high risk that the good will be confiscated. I would stay away from big brand goods from China. Better try to find unknown quality products. If you need help, PM me. I am in China.
too new to this site to PM you but I would like some of your help in finding sources. PM me .

Any Apple products that are on Alibaba are without a doubt counterfeit.

Depends completely on the vendor, check to see if they are a verified gold member for 1+ years, and check their feedback. I've also found that vendors on Alibaba are very responsive to emails and they usually have decent english so messaging them about any questions you may have is also a good idea. Scammers abound on Alibaba though, so be careful, and escrow is the way to go. Make sure you also check or ask about their Minimum Order, some vendors have ridiculous minimum orders that make you buy 1000s of items at a time to get a good price.

Good luck!!!

i would never buy anything on alibaba or aliexpress that was apple period

I think most of the apple-related stuff on Alibaba is just OEM or generic things like chargers, USB cords, etc. They aren't actual apple products, but mostly accessories.
Is it OK to buy Chinese phones from aliexpress and they NOT get confiscated?

if you have to ask that, you REALLY need to spend a few hours/days googling for various information, "bootleg info" included. I'd also include watching some youtube videos

The question you just asked is a rudimentary and fundamental piece of knowledge for product importing / selling online, and would have been answered in 5 seconds if you googled it.

Not saying this to be mean or attack you, but you're going to develop a bad reputation asking the most basic of questions like this as it makes you come off as a leecher that is unwilling to put any effort into anything himself. It'll also save both you and us a lot of time if you absorb the basics vai your own google/youtube searches (your answers will come much faster than having to make threads/wait for responses)

To answer your question: yes theres various legal trouble when it comes to selling counterfeit product. The severity depends on what country you live in, what country you sell in, etc. If you're in the US and considering importing bootlegs strait to your home to sell - thats -very- dangerous and you could be asking for a huge lawsuit and/or prison time.

The same I said above applies to you. This is another basic, fundamental piece of knowledge you really should just be able to google.

Answer: if it's no-name, generic, not using patented/copright designs, not trying to pass off as a licensed product, or is *legally* licensed to be sold as such, then its fine.
