Algo penalties suck because you can't just go to google and beg for reconsideration and have them give you links that violate their TOS. I've been trying to get one removed by disavowing links but I almost wonder if I have to wait for another penguin update for it to take effect since I don't see any changes.

My guess is, that you have to wait for some change with Google for your disavowed links to affect your rankings when it's an algo penalty. I could be wrong though since I have limited experience trying to beat an algo penalty. I usually dump the site.

Have someone on fiverr pull you a list.

Yes you can as the website is not penalized because of spam, but because of anchor diversification.

i guess i would had to receive a manual penalty for spam right? I also got no more than 2k backlinks so i guess spam wouldn't be the reason, just diversity.
    Can i pass the juice with a simple backlink ? Like algopenalized.com/niche1 backlink to : newsit.com/niche1 , algopenalized.com/niche2 backlink to newsite.com/niche2 ?
Would that be ok ? Because i'm still getting some money off the penalized website from other sources than organics.

Op! received your pm -- well, you can go with 301 redirect method and obviously, link juice will be transferred. Penalty won't affect more on new site as soon as it anchor text penalty in old site -- I might say you can go with that.

Could you explain that please? I thought a site might get penalized because of the lack of anchor diversification (= too many KW heavy anchors), not because the anchors are too diversified.

@ OP: You should never point 1k links for 5$ at your moneysite, specially if it already makes you money. Use it for tier 2 or tier 3.

When you get hit with an algorithmic penalty and you are sure about that stop wasting your time on that domain (unless it is a big brand that you invested thousands of dollars in) best thing to do:
1- 301 the site to a new domain, if you are lucky you may get your ranking back for few months before penalty catches up (in some cases you may get no improvement in ranking)
2- Start a new site (new domain is must and different design or content is a good idea), make sure you learned from your previous experience it is key to know what caused your penalty and avoid it with the new domain

Is it true that you should start a new site on a new domain?

I put soooo much time into my website that starting from scratch is almost not even an option. There are over 100 handwritten articles on the site (all written by me) 1000 words each in length.
