Alexa Ranking Question

I was wondering if having my site as a pop-under in different sites could get me in trouble with Alexa ranking, help getting better Alexa ranking, or would it have no impact at all.

Does anyone have any input regarding this?

Thanks for the reply, bud.

However, I'm not interested in putting a pop-under or a popup in my site. I want my site to be a pop-under in other different sites.

Do your visitors coming from Alexa? What the point to care about Alexa ranking?

I guess it would have no impact at all on your Alexa ranking

How do you believe Alexa counts visitors? Do you think every Internet browser send Alexa it data about all user's activities? Or maybe you think Alexa get it information from DNS servers, etc? Don't be so naive, Alexa collects all data through widgets on websites and browser plug-ins. How many Internet users install this Alexa bar? How many webmasters put Alexa widgets on websites.
I think many of us know correct answer.
Some women's forum about kids can have more visitors than site about webdesign, and while webdesign site can have perfect ranking in Alexa, women's forum may be even not included into Alexa's index. Why? Because nobody with installed Alexa bar ever visited this site.
In fact, every time I check Alexa's data about sites I care about, I see absolute bull shit. And you know what? I don't care, because I know that Alexa can't give me customer, but competitors checking status of my site and stiling my links and ideas.

However, good Alexa rankings can help if you want to sell your website to one of those idiots who believe in Alexa.

in theory if the pop-under is counted from the alexa toolbar as if somebody visited your site, then your alexa rank should improve (just like if from tomorrow you double your visitors)
