hi guys i am wondering wht is alexa ranking factor?
i mean i thought it was traffic
but i delivered abt 18k uv over 2 days fake traffic (using proxy and traffic bot) to my site
but my alexa rank didnt changed a bit.....
can anyone help me out and tell me wht are actual factors on which alexa rank depend
and how can i improve it?

People need to download the alexa toolbar and that's mainly how your alexa rank gets better.

The more people that have the toolbar that go to your site, the better

like with fake traffic? or some bot or somthing?
is ppc or like linkbucks somthing are only best way?
r there any bots with browse sites with alexa toolbar installed using proxies?

There has been software out that claimed it boosted alexa rankings but I haven't heard anything good about it.

I've seen auto surf sites increase alexa rankings.

I actually just commented on a thread about auto surf sites here...

other than traffic, updating your blog regularly can boost alexa rank too.. I know a blog with just 200 uv daily is on 13k alexa rank without much traffic just by by updating it daily with 1 post.. his been doing this frm last 6-8 months..

I've never had good success with super alexa booster. But maybe it's different now.

Auto surfs will increase your alexa ranking a little because people that do the surfing might have the alexa toolbar downloaded.

i doubt he must get lots lots lots!!! (seeing his rankings)

have he boosted alexa rank in past?
cuz in past u cud boost alexa rank with fake traffic
he might have done that
and sustained ranking now after alexa ranking method update
