Trying to find a good way to boost Alexa rank for our company's website. I know it really doesn't matter, but the boss seems to think otherwise.
For some reason we are down in the 13mils on rank, probably because of non-techs hacking at the redirect from our old site before they got me to jump in.
Not looking for a miracle.. just want to get up to 1mil or so. Genuine or not.
I've read a ton stating that you need the Alexa toolbar, or you can use traffic generators, but haven't found any good, legitimate ones. Don't really care what methods I use. I'm a 4 year professional Application Developer and Webmaster. Also have a pretty high learning curve. Site runs on WordPress and I know the industry pretty well, but this Alexa stuff is starting to get aggravating - especially when this is the only metric they care about. Any help would be much appreciated.
