What are your thoughts on how this could be done? I am aiming to get 1 million unique viewers to a content Wordpress page in a few months or so

I am looking at doing a few methods, SEO, backlink building, Facebook, twitter, traffic from old domains, etc

I want to update my page a bit, optimize my Adsense, CPA and what ever else then for 2 months really hammer out some great content ready to go

I plan on using Facebook to invite 100K users, then get some outside traffic on Facebook from other people, then do some Twitter stuff, and do some domain retraffic, by then my pagerank should be good, there should be some nice word of mouth to spread

I am looking to build my first month to 40,000 then 150,000, hopefully by the end of summer I can build up to a large number of unique users

What do you think? Any other htoughts?

Have you done your keyword research first? If you are targeting keywords which have reasonably high search volume but low competition, you can achieve your target in just a couple of months using whitehat techniques. The game changes when you are targeting high demand keywords that have stiff competition.

Well, you are definently reaching for the biscuit on this one.

That would have to be one hell of a blog to keep people not only interested but, interested enough to become serious, short-term members, muchless long-term readers. It won't work with a crappy cpa tosser site and junk information. To do this type of site and have serious success, you are going to have to totally take a serious move from junk tactics to real, solid, long-term techniques that are whitehat and legitimate.

You are also going to have to work your butt off to maintain the quality level it takes to generate content people want to stick around for. Before attempting this, I suggest you take a serious look as to if you are really up for the challenge, not just to make the goal of getting all of those ' visitors ' but maintaining that level of customer count for years to come.

Food for thought, because if your burn your rep by letting this flop once you start it, people are not so forgiving and have a habit of stepping on you when you are down. Which that is why it is so hard to get back up if you do.

Not trying to burst your bubble here, just giving you a serious reality check as to the level of risk you are taking. If you are going to risk it, make sure you don't burn them with a cpa scam site. You will regret it.

How do I know what my key words are? When I look, using google analytics to find my key words, (ie what people search to find my page), mine is always on the first page

However the key words are very closely linked with the site name, soo

You know what your keywords are presently within your website meta-tags, right?

You know what niche market you are in, right?

Use google's ' keyword tool ' and see what alternatives come up when you put in the keywords you know you have currently. This will tell you what has traffic coming to it and what doesn't. This will tell you what natural search visitors are actually using to find your site and others like it.

No it isnt some crappy cpa tosser site,
It had real, fresh (non bot generator) content

I get 8-10 pageviews a day with 80% new traffic, the average user spends 8-10 minutes on the site

However, I don't have a terrific retention rate which is 20% but the number is building and growing

However, I dont have the viral effect and

keywords tools comes up with (0)
My website shows up on Google, and I site:google and I can see like 1000 pages linked, but not too many are indexed and I dont have a pagerank yet

The site is about 2 months old, a bit over a month old with real content and traffic (above 50 unique users per day)

Although 1 million per month is a big stretch, my realistic sites are closer to 200K to 400K, but to reach that I have to be thinking 1,000K

On google analytics it shows some keywords people use to come to the site, there's some weird ones but its pretty consistent

30,000+ a day is doable, just like mentioned above, all depends on how crappy of a site you tend to make, if you build someone people will like, and take care of it, you can do it pretty easily. I've ran sites getting 100k+ a day, granted that's not mainstream but in adult, it still applies the same.

Thanks, I think it is to, I had tday 50% new viewers today, but my numbers were really low, I didn't do much content updating
I usually make 5 quality content posts every day (except Sundays)

The big thing working against me I think is my SEO lack, people can find me but google doesn't have me in, nor does yahoo

I am looking longer out (not just happening tomorrow) but also think some black hat methods would be good for a kick off

Certainly such things could be possible to do depending on what you are doing. That being said, it will never happen for you doing what you are doing. You say that you are planning on doing a few methods like seo and link building, yet you have no idea what keywords you are working on. Without knowing the keywords you will not know the search volume or competition for the keywords you are targeting. You can drum up some traffic with other methods, but it is highly unlikely to generate numbers like that. You likely need a lot of that traffic to come from organic traffic.

If you don't know what keywords you are targeting, you need to fire up market samurai or something similar and start researching what to go after. With this, you can find potential traffic from organic search and competition. This might help you decide if you want to target certain keywords. Some keywords may be very competitive and you will have serious trouble ranking for them. I think you need to start right off from the beginning and figure out what you want to target and set your focus on that.

Thanks, I appreciate it, yes I dont quite know yet but looking into it, market samurai ?

Mentioning where I want to go will ultimately help me on what first steps I should take?
