I’m creating AI/UGC videos on the same Windows PC and uploading them to multiple TikTok/Instagram accounts.

Do platforms actually use MP4 metadata like encoder, creation time, software name, etc. to link accounts, or is that mostly irrelevant because uploads get re-encoded anyway?

Do you guys strip metadata before posting AI-generated content, or just focus on making each video genuinely different?

Uploading from the same PC does not automatically mean the videos will be treated the same, so You should focus on each account having its own content style.

Create a unique Facebook style for your account by focusing on high-quality videos; you can vary video lengths to make your content stand out.

Interesting point. I’d personally put more focus on making the content and posting patterns genuinely different rather than overthinking the same-PC issue. Metadata is worth keeping in mind, but content quality and account-level behavior seem like the bigger factors.

Both apps re-encode on upload so encoder tags rarely survive, what I saw linking accounts was same IP plus identical posting minutes, not file metadata. Do you use separate browser profiles per account

Uploading videos to multiple accounts from the same source device does not significantly impact the performance of your TikTok or Instagram accounts; these platforms prioritize video quality and reach over the metadata regarding the upload source.
