How many of you are using AI tools, and which ones?

It feels like the hype around ChatGPT has died down a bit or maybe I’ve just started to ignore it

Many people in my network have moved to Claude, saying it’s much better for solving technical tasks.

Also, there are a lot of “experts” on LinkedIn sharing new approaches every day. From my experience, it mostly comes to prompting and brainstorming, just made easier with things like vibe coding, etc.

the amout of videos that popped up on youtube about claude is crazy. and they say gemini is better than chat for scripting.

I use a mix of tools and choose based on the task. Codex handles most of my main coding work; I sometimes use Claude for design adjustments and Xiaomi for specific research. I also use omp.sh to switch between different model providers in one workflow. For a small, compact project, I don't always need the heaviest model. The tool matters, but having a clear role for it and checking the output matters just as much.

The difference between hype and usage. Hype cycle and usage are two distinct curves. Noisy "AI will change everything" articles might have subsided, while usage continued to grow in a steady fashion, since people stopped considering it to be some sort of gimmick and started using it the way they use spreadsheets - as something which you open and start working with without giving it much thought.

I don't like the credit limits with Claude, it is useful and recommended for all sorts of coding tasks, but when we tested it for anything complex, always ran out of credits very fast.

ChatGPT with Astra is still a great price / value ratio in my book and one thing that I use the most

Have a solution for picture and video AI content generation - 900 + models, billed per usage

Now also exploring Grok, since it seems to have decent capabilities that are not that easy to find with other alternatives

I’ve tried Claude too and it can be really useful for coding and working through larger chunks of code. I don’t think it’s necessarily about one tool replacing another though.
