AI spam on BHW

Well it's true, I checked it on introduction. After 1 or 2 members you'll see same lines being repeated. "Same for you, hope for the same.. support, guidance" and so many lines were same.
 
If you don't know how to interact with the OP's original topic constructively, we will lock the thread. There is no reason why anyone has to take shots at the staff, as everyone here wants the bots gone, so let's all work together to solve the problem instead of making it worse.
 
I agree to OP in hire a freelancer screen there is too much ai generated responses. The same guy having professionalism in all sectors is funny.

Actually I think this is even worse than AI answers.

There are a couple of dozens JrViPs applying to every Hire a Freelancer thread.

Tried posting there and every time same people spamming threads with "We are experts in this area we have it all" answers, just to find out how clueless they are and how they wasted 30 minutes of your life. Now go and multiply this with 10 "freelancers" in your inbox and you lose half a day with no real provider or any result. I understand that you wanna earn some money, but please...
 
The only way to browse forums these days is by following certain people and ignoring the rest. If you want to hire people, simply build long term connections and ask for referrals.

Big social sites implement id verification and multiple phone verifications and it seems to work to a degree. Maybe forums can implement something like that as well.
 
Might be time for me to put another meme on my profile, I think.
 
AI can be used to write or rewrite the content, but here many new accounts use them to farm the accounts and inflate the post count,

some accounts copy pasting some AI generated content and misleading without any real experience posing as guru, expert :)

spammers found a way to flood the forum, Mod's are doing great job.

You're perfectly right but this contradicts to this forum.

1) Black hat - magic - anonymous - no way to attract members with KYC.
2) The forum lives from new members and posts. Contributors and mod of value have left time ago.
 
BHW is maybe the best moderated forum in the world.
But mods are only humans and sometimes they miss someone.

So if you see something suspicious report it, you'll be surprised how fast mods are
 
In the Lichess Off-Topic Discussion sub-forum, AI generated threads and posts are extremely annoying. AI should only be used to enhance human thinking and create new ways of thinking that humans can't replicate; not as a replacement for thinking all together.

You are right, "Warning Abuse Of Staff Members" come in immediately. AI spam stays online.

I don't recall seeing many reports from you about spam. I recall seeing posts from you moaning about staff member abuse warning, though.
