Hello Everyone,
I need an app or spreadsheet or so or any means to display upcoming matches from all football league tables for a particular period based on certain criteria.
The app would automatically select only upcoming matches between a team with a very high point vs a team with a very low point.
The difference in points between the team with the highest point and the team with the lowest point must be any number of times I select.
Furthermore, the app would also be able to have options to select matches where the team with the highest point is playing only from "home" and not an "away" match.
Another criteria is that the app would only select teams that have played at least 10 matches or any number I select.
Let me give you a practical example.
The upcoming matches could be from this site: http://www.soccerway.com or from wherever you are already sourcing the match schedules from.
The data for the points would be sourced from the league table on:
https://uk.soccerway.com/national/france/ligue-1/20202021/regular-season/r58178/
On the link for the France Ligue 1 table as shown above, the app would scan through the table (February 3rd, 2021) and select the match between "PSG vs Nimes" because
1. PSG has 45 points which is thrice (3x) that of Nimes that has 15 points.
2. PSG which has higher points and has already met the criteria for minimum points difference, is playing a home based match.
3. Both teams have played a minimum of 10 matches
Another example that would be selected is an Ethiopian Premier League match between "Bahardar vs Jimma Aba Jifar" on Thursday 04/02/2021 because
1. Bahard has 15 points which is 5x that of Jimma Aba Jifar that has 3 points
2. Bahard which has higher points and has already met the criteria for minimum points' difference, is playing a home based match.
3. Both teams have played a minimum of 10 matches
Yet again, in another example for the same Ethiopian Premier League, the app would also select the match between "Fasil Kenema vs Dire Dawa Kenema" because
1. Fasil Kenema has 22 points which is slightly over twice (2x) that of Dire Dawa Kenema that has 10 points
2. Fasil Kenema which has higher points and has already met the criteria for minimum points' difference, is playing a home based match.
3. Both teams have played a minimum of 10 matches
The app or spreadsheet would search through the site's entire league tables for matches that meet the desired criteria.
Kindly note that
1. The information about upcoming matches and the points for the teams must not necessarily come from soccerway.com ... it's just that I'm already used to the site.
2. There should be an option to scan for upcoming matches on any particular date.
3. The minimum difference in points between the team with the highest point and the team with the lowest point must be at least twice (2x) and should have options to select 3x, 4x or whatever "X" is desired.
4. The teams of the chosen matches must have played a minimum of 10 matches or whatever I secr
