Hello everyone

Please someone should help me with prompt to use in generating a long fictional story and also recommend which AI is the best in doing this.

I try telling ChatGPT to generate a script that can last for 15 minutes but it keeps generating short form story that's just 4 minutes.

Try Grok, its pretty cool, it also has a story mode we believe and several other modes, try it out....it creates longer versions than chat gpt.

You will have to make multiple requests with chatgpt. Like can you add more and so on.

write a detailed and immersive long story where the main character faces an unexpected challenge that changes their life. include vivid descriptions of the setting, the character’s emotions, and the obstacles they encounter. build tension with small twists, add meaningful dialogue, and end with either a surprising revelation or a satisfying resolution. keep the pacing natural so the story feels alive and engaging.

You will need to split the story into several prompts. Hard to imagine ChatGPT generating a full 15 minutes high quality story from one single prompt, create the first one and ask it to keep generating the story
 
You can try breaking the story into parts. Instead of asking for a full 15‑minute script in one go, prompt the AI to create a detailed outline first (characters, plot, chapters/scenes), then expand each scene one by one. For long stories, models like ChatGPT GPT‑4.5 or Claude 3 work well because they handle continuity better over multiple prompts.
 
Try using other ai apps like gemini or grok, the issue with chat gpt is it gives you limited words, so you have to keep prompting it multiple times and then combine it all together.

Grok is too useless
 
Ask your AI to write you the prompt you want, and then use this prompt to ask it what you want.
 
You can ask ChatGPT to create a detailed outline, then develop each part one by one. This approach makes it easier to control the story while maintaining emotional flow and logic.

to write a script you can use ChatGPT / Gemini / Claude, in addition you need to write clearly the time, context and give your chatGPT a character
