AI PHOTOS Humanizing tools - How effective are they?

Someone have experience with tools that Humanize AI PHOTOS?
I'm talking about tools like 'ScaleOFM'.

From my experience these tools don't really work so as Humanity we have nothing (yet) to be afraid of AI photos as they're easy to detect by AI Detection Tools.

I kind of agree, but only to a point. I’ve tried a few tools like Scale OFM, and most results still look slightly unnatural — especially skin texture and lighting. You can usually tell if you look closely. That said, they’re improving pretty fast. For casual use like social media, some images already pass at a glance. So maybe not perfect yet, but I wouldn’t say there’s nothing to worry about in the near future.

I wouldn’t completely dismiss them. Some of the newer tools can make AI photos look a lot more natural at a glance

While tools like scaleOFM are popular niche agencies for adding amateur textures to AI photos they currently fail to bypass high level forensic detectors which still flag the underlying pixel pattern with nearly 100% confidence

Tools like ScaleOFM don’t really “fix” AI images—they mostly add surface effects like noise or blur, while deeper issues (lighting, anatomy, textures) remain. Meanwhile, detection systems from companies like OpenAI and Google analyze more complex patterns, so they’re harder to fool. Overall, we’re in an arms race: AI images are getting more realistic, but detection isn’t perfect either, so neither side fully wins yet.
