I always see other AI models on IG and I'm wondering why they aren't banned already? Is removing the Synth ID enough to avoid getting banned on IG for being AI? I'm just trying to skip labelling my model as Ai

removing a label won’t matter much if the account itself looks sketchy. IG usually cares more about reports, repetitive posting patterns, engagement bait, and whether the page starts reading like a factory than whether one marker got stripped. A lot of “AI model” pages survive because they’re low noise and don’t trigger attention, not because they beat some magic detector.

AI content isn't banned on Instagram, which is why you see it so commonly. However, intentionally removing hidden identifiers (like SynthID) or concealing AI information can cause accounts to be flagged by the algorithm as engaging in "unauthentic behavior" or spam.

ig does not ban ai content. What they ban is trying to pass off ai images and videos as real images. You need to correctly label them ai, and it will not hurt your reach. As long as egagement is high, ig will still share out your videos
