I used Claude o code. I have $20 pro. After 5 hrs I hit usage limit

Is there offline model free. I don’t need this 7.4b token which is basically api from different models & hard to run

I need simple 1 click install

lm studio is the closest to one click, download it and pick a qwen coder model that fits your ram. just dont expect claude level on a normal pc, its fine for small stuff

Qwen3.8-Flash-Next is currently top-tier for coding among local LLMs. If you have the hardware to run it, it's the best thing out there right now.

Easily on par with Opus 4.7

ollama plus the continue extension in vs code gives you chat and autocomplete right inside the project, which feels much closer to claude code than copy pasting into lm studio.
