AI is going to kill the blogger

No, this isn't another "AI is going to kill SEO" post. But that's irrelevant because AI is going to kill blogging whether search engines die or not.

I've been building an authority site and my goal was to have the highest quality articles possible, rather than going the AI-written content route. I spent a lot of time searching for the best article writers and these writers did not come cheap. I even managed to find two professional writers who were also experts in my niche. They are the cream of the crop, as far as writers in my niche go, and the price they charge reflects that.

I got about 80 articles deep into my project when I started to realize how many people are now using AI software, ChatGPT etc. to write their articles. For a minute I thought I was high and mighty, riding my high horse into the sunset of quality content that could only be written by an expert human writer.

Then, as someone who had never used ChatGPT before, I wrote an article in my niche using ChatGPT. My conclusion? The quality of the article was almost as good as what I'm paying legitimate experts top dollar for.

Could this have something to do with my niche not being very technical, and therefore being moderately easy for AI to mimic the writing of a legitimate expert? Possibly. But if you're making blogs with human-written content and you believe that AI-written content can't compete with yours, or won't soon be able to, you and your high horse are in for a rude awakening.

And if you think the fact that every blogger will soon be writing their content with AI isn't going to inevitably devalue all written content online, I would have to say you're ignorant like I was up until a couple hours ago.
Thanks

I defenetely undertand you point of view, but this situation is to adapt and change any method to survive, but there are a few extra thing that might delay what you say about the all AI blogging and right now chatgpt is struggling with it that is keep their server active dyue to the huge traffic they are receiving, and some one in another thread mentioned even the pro version has connection problems and they are paying $20 not much but still is money, so AI is going to be really limited in the approach their developers take and the hardware they use and some other factors that might limit is that in being specific chatgpt is not connected to internet so information provided is limited by the information their developer feed it manually but still chatgpt change the game for everyone on the SEO black and white community and we need to adapt and learn to use it to our advantage.

do we have to check for plagiarism issues when using chatgpt?

I think people wory to much about ai taking place of seo ,blogs etc
In this world you need to adapt amd find new ways to make money

I hate to break it to you, but your writers aren't really "the cream of the crop" if your AI-generated content is similar to theirs in quality. I'm a writer and I can confidently say no AI generated article could match mine, even if it were generated using a futuristic GPT 100.

Perhaps your so-called "cream of the crop" writers used AI to generated the articles they presented to you.

Thanks autocorrect.

didn't an ai recently make a rap song? I mean truth be told if ai can be programmed to do it sure will do it and take over. I have no doubt on that. i am kind of excited to see what ai and our future will be like.

Are you sure that your writer didn't use ai?

Can't wait to see the trend going down with the time. How far it can go? Until people has that interest of using it and once it is reached to a level, it will stop anyways. Remember, there are many things AI's can't really replace from humans and that is emotions. They can just write up scrambled blogs, they cant add spices to it. It wont last for long.

AI Version of what you said :

Well, well, well, look who's excited to see the AI trend go down the drain! It's almost like watching a cat chase a laser pointer, isn't it? How far down can it go, you ask? Maybe all the way to China, who knows! But seriously, folks, as much as we love our AI overlords, let's face it - there are certain things they just can't do, like feeling emotions or telling a joke that doesn't fall flat. Oh sure, they can whip up some uninspired blog posts, but who wants to read that? I mean, I'd rather read the phone book, to be honest. So, let's all raise a glass and toast to the impending demise of this fad, shall we? Cheers!

Stop the cap.

The ChatGPT-assisted article was most likely MUCH BETTER than anything a typical human writer would create.
With the occasional fact-checking, I'd be more surprised if you can find a human who consistently does it better.
Personally, unless you're writing about very recent current events, I fail to see the need for a human writer.
The wheel has been reinvented and this SOB just works better.

I can go buy gigs from "the best" writers on any given platform.
Put me in a room with AI, and I can almost guarantee you I'll have the much better content, every single time.

EDIT: Oh, and with regards to what I said about very recent current events, I've had AI write some very compelling and accurate content about 2023.

it's a tool use it. don't fear it. as you said it can output quality article faster and more efficient. than increase your post. or maek more site since it's possible now to do it

No, my perceptive is blogging still there in future.

AI did not kill blogging, my opinion.
