AI is coming for copywriters

I would say, the future is gonna be exciting! People are already applying AI to things like music.. Here's an interesting project (caution: don't watch if you like rap music. It got killed ). ;)

all this AI talk seems pretty similar to the seo is dead talk.

we will all probably be saying the same shit in 5 years.

Terminator inc. But there has to be some major flaws to such a system. Unless it can completely embody what a professional writer can do, I'm not believing that It will be able to do such a thing to that extent.

Well, AI can help us to get rid of writers having poor writing skills. Could it add emotions and sentiments while writing the content?

I agree. I think AI will be great to replace cheap and low quality writers and I welcome that. But when you need top notch and well-researched piece written, professional writers and researchers are going to be hard to replace.

I really wouldn't mind having an AI article writing service where you pay a subscription and it writes very legible and grammatically correct articles in 5 minutes. Not all of our websites need 100% top notch professional content written, but using cheap writers is a hard option because you always have to either get them edited and spend time checking the quality.

Just saw a TV ad (yes I still watch it) on Microsoft AI. They are taking over the world.

We gotta figure out how to be in the game with them and not against them.

Imagine news articles without bias? It does sounds fun.

"My team has been working with GPT-2 and GANs for the past months. We have seen that they are able to provide a great deal of flexibility and are able to work with us as we continue to develop our own solutions.

The GPT-2 project is a great example of how AI can be used to solve problems that are centered on sequential information processing. We believe that this is a great opportunity for us to work together on a more collaborative and scalable architecture."

So that was generated my team running a supervised copy of Elon Musk's GPT-2 network. We fed it the line, "My team has been working with GPT-2," then it creates a probability cloud of word sequences that fit the patterns it has been trained on. On it's own GPT-2 is quite interesting but it works best when what it's creating is supervised by humans or rule based systems that fact check it and keep it in line.

I'm planning to buy a land in a rural area and start farming and eco-tourism there within next ten years.

We don't have a publicly facing interface at the moment but you're free to try the python code that we're building around. It's able to run on Google Collab's notebook system to get you started without having to setup a full development environment. https://colab.research.google.com/github/ilopezfr/gpt-2/blob/master/gpt-2-playground_.ipynb#scrollTo=_QIdaQn5WkSf

But still you need to provide information about article to AI, imo is useless for big brands but will good for seo

It looks nice, but what are the actual use cases? As I imagine you will need to give this algorithm a list of facts based on which it will write an article. I think it will be used for writing report like articles, where you provide a list of facts and the AI will give you a nice article. I think there will also be a nice niche for AI generated fiction books (don't even try to profit from this ingenious idea of mine without giving me a cut :D).
