Ai Hype Disappeared

Idk, don't see much stuff that they can actually do with ai. Deep fakes will surely get limited etc, ai will not be able to create quality content at least not in next 5 years
Have you not heard about Moore's law?

AI is getting better and better, this is just the beginning. Now I have a tool where it writes me up to 1000 articles pulling from different sites, all i need to do is manually generate images in mj. Can't imagine whats next. Hype probably died for regular people but the business world is hyped
Totally. I use Midjourney to generate images for one of my IG's business account (for an app) and it got me like 30k followers within two months

Can you send example in priv of what it makes

Just look at peoples avatars I bet half of them are made with midjourney, you just give it prompts and it makes you an image, can be cartoon or proper realistic, whatever you ask for. Great for creating images without any copyright issues

Soon you'll be able to fuck AI girls instead of the real one.

The hype has actually started. You need to know that the A.I. is going to revolutionise our lives!

Have you not heard about Moore's law?
moores law isn't scientific fact, it's just an observation of a trend. in reality, anything can happen. i believe it takes creativity to push AI forward.

Loads of people are still talking about it, I don't see much change between now and few months back. Especially annoying are the overly enthusiastic ones who keep saying we'll all lose our jobs.

I think it's quite the opposite. People are actually looking for more and more opportunities and areas to apply artificial intelligence.

True that, my bad hehe.

But personally i belive that the concept behind Moore's Law is applicable and logical for AI since it is self learning, the smarter it becomes the faster it will evolve.
Since it is using electronic power to fuel itself the quickness won't decrease in the same sense as humans ability to work on a project like electronic components.

Hype or not, but i think that in the next 5 years, AI will continue to evolve and impact our lives. Smart technologies will become even smarter, enhancing smartphones, smart homes, and automobiles. Medicine will leverage AI for improved diagnostics and treatment. Automation systems will be introduced in manufacturing, leading to increased efficiency and cost savings. However, it is real important to consider the ethical and legal aspects of AI to ensure safety and responsible use. Overall, the future of AI promises new opportunities and improvements in various areas of our lives.

AI was "overhyped" because everyone got interested in it right away and so your perceived standard of interest that AI should have got screwed up a little, meaning you saw that initial interest as a standard and a base and you think if it goes below that it means its gone.
But in reality its just stabilizing and finding its place on the market.
It may go quiet for some time for average Joes, but its not going away for sure.
