I’m mixing AI for scripts and voice, but still editing manually for that “real” feel.
Anyone else running this hybrid setup? Still worth the extra effort???

yes I do that for my channels in the "horror stories" niche andvideos always get monetized so long as they really have human touch added.

How many subscribers you have grown to with this approach ?

Yes that hybrid approach works best. aı saves time, but your human tweaks keep retention and engagement high. Definitely worth the extra effort.

Hybrid still wins. AI handles volume, human touch keeps watch time.
It’s not extra work cause it’s what makes the content stick for now

Yeah, I do the same! AI speeds up the bulk of scripting and voice, but that manual touch really keeps it from feeling robotic. Totally worth it if you care about quality.

How you plan to monetize ? Because youtube has said that they will not allow such videos to be monetized.

That is good strategy since it doesn't look like an automated video, people are tired of watching these automated videos and they want something that has value in it, so yes using ai as voice overs is fine, but video editing needs to be nailed.

Yes a mix of AI and manual editing works best AI saves time and the human touch makes the content feel natural.

that mix of Aı. efficiency and human nuance usually gives the best results keeps viewers engaged without burning you out.

Yes that hybrid setup still works great in 2025. AI speeds up production, and your manual editing adds authenticity that boosts retention and avoids the “AI-only” feel. Definitely worth it.

Mixing Ai and human content is very good approach. There are many people working on it these days. Using Ai helps you to manage and save your time and the human touch will make it feel real. Focus on your content quality and make it better as you can so that it attracts the audience. This hybrid approach will help you to get monetize soon and give you good reach. Stay consistent and work hard to make your content better.

Yes it's worth the extra effort since Youtube can detect if your content is purely AI and it doesn't rank that as high as human edited or produced content,

add some white noise and some background audio (e.g. as if the window is opened and there is some city ambience in the background). The latest elevenlabs audio models are by far the best quality.
