Hi all,
I've been taking in as much information from BHW as possible to build knowledge on marketing but find it difficult from a beginner's point of view.

Could I ask for some advice please, over the last two years we have been developing an Ai that can accurately predict horse racing results with very good results. But the next step is to promote the website and build up a subscription-based model.

In your option what is the best way to promote this type of product in the gambling niche? It seems to me that it will be difficult for a newbie like myself to pick up the ball and run with it for mass digital marketing without hitting many roadblocks. Any advice would be appreciated.

I suggest a joint venture, but even then you could easily find someone to build that styled website for you here.

Most ad platforms won't accept the kind of traffic you are looking for, but still, you may contact betting sites willing to sell you banner placements on their sites for a monthly fee.
That's what I would do.
The problem with this option will be conflict of interest. Many sites are affiliated with bookmakers such as Bet365 and so on. Not sure they would entertain a disruptor product on their website, although I might be wrong. My guess is if they do advertise costs will be high.

Social media and affiliates to get traffic
You mention social media but these platforms do not allow gambling related products to be advertised. Affiliate traffic is certainly a good route. I've looked at clickbank but are you able to recommend a more suitable network for gambling products?

Word of mouth.

In your particular case, 5 happy customers are all you need, to be honest.

The problem, for you, is to actually make 5 customers happy.

Because if the ods you offer would exceed 50% win, you would just use it yourself and make a fortune.

Assuming a martingale approach on your AI, 3 tries would be enough to make a win.

A youtube video with a recording of you placing bets and winning would attract A LOT of people.

Your niche is the type that can attract 100 000 people in a single day, from ONLY 5 happy customers.

Your problem/struggle, is to actually make 5 customers happy.

wow that's so cool! what is the winning percentage of your AI?

as for the marketing I think arbitrage bettors would definitely be interested in your software.
Winning percentage is high. We've been in the developed stages of this Ai for 3 years with 3rd party proofing in the last year. Although it's not about % it's more the profit made that counts. The Ai could give you 95+% strike rate, but without the odds in your favour you will always lose in the long term. We will never sell the software, its the subscription model we are interested in.

We have placed betting slips on our website to help show that our Ai is the real deal. But maybe you are right and video would be better.

I'm sure we will make 5 customers very happy, but how then to push this out for the big numbers you mention?

There are plenty of sites and asking is free.
Nothing to lose on your side.
You may also look at buysellads - they may have something in their inventory.
I am not into betting, but your software seems to be amazing.
I would bet on you.

I'm interested in JV, please send the link of the website in DM.
I'm based in Italy and worked in digital marketing for 14 years.

I've seen the analytics for a multi-million dollar betting membership site and I've run some affiliate traffic for sports betting prediction sites in the past.

I'd suggest (first of all) offering it as a free trial. If you do have an edge (doubtful) let them get a few picks to see that it's solid and get them on a monthly sub after that.

The suggestions you've had above on creating content (IG, TikTok. Reddit and YouTube of course) with picks is a good one. Plenty of people already doing similar stuff but it's free traffic at low cost. Pay for gambling influencers to promote you.

You'd have to really convince people you have something but a good first step would be buying some advertising on sports trading and matched betting sites/forums. People claim this stuff all the time so you'd have to prove it with more than a few bet slip screenshots but there's an obvious market there.

Currently, we have set the sign up for a very low cost for the first month's subscription, auto-renewing to a full subscription after the first month. Although we could adjust this to a free trial period of 7 day or 14 days with auto-upgrade after the trial period ends. Having an edge or at least showing it without all the normal hype "this is the best thing in the world" is exactly what we want to avoid. I believe transparency is what the user requires no (Bull S***). That is why over the last year we have proofed our service with a 3rd party completely independent site to prove the Ai will perform as it should. All the results can be viewed/downloaded by the client prior to sign up. The software is showing +5000 pts profit which we now believe is a good trigger point to launch the Ai service.

We are still refining the Ai with greater accuracy...still learning. But we think the results are good and time is right to launch the service, hence the reason for traffic advice. Which is very much appreciated, thank you.

Your product sounds like a binary options offer from the early 2010s.
If it's that good, bet on horse races rather than selling a monthly subscription.

Why wouldn't you get a line of credit and bet yourself if you have a positive EV on your bets? Selling your predictions to anyone else will lose you money long term compared to what you could make if your predictions actually had positive EV.
