AI-generated voice-over videos can make money on YouTube.
A lot of people are under the impression that if you just use any kind of AI to generate voice, that automatically you are not going to be monetized.
This is not true.
You have to understand that AI voice generation technology or text-to-speech technology varies widely.
The vast majority of tools out there produce a very robotic voice.
A lot of them are very painful to listen to because they're so artificial and mechanical.
Others are so slick and smooth and give you a tremendous amount of customization as far as emotional variation goes per sentence that you can barely tell them apart from real human speakers.
I know it's very tempting to just go with the cheapest or the first free voice-generated tool you can find online.
The temptation is definitely there.
But if you give in to the temptation, chances are, you're not going to make money off your YouTube channel.
You need to focus on the quality of the generated voice and look at software as a necessary investment.
There are tools out there that clone your voice.
Once it generates the audio, you can then edit it to better closely fit the emotional range of the text the software is reading.
Go with those tools.
Stay away from obviously robotic text-to-speech software.
