Although AI content is rapidly advancing, Google's improvements also target networks of low-quality content. Does anyone here still use guest posts created by AI to get backlinks? If yes, how do you make them appear genuine enough to pass a manual review?

@AndromedaAngel is on the money. AI for research and rough drafts; humans for the final copy. Funny enough, I think this is how most jobs like this (writing, editing, graphic design) will be done in the near future.

Always rewrite and humanize them before publishing. Add real insights, stats, and some personal tone — that’s usually enough to make them look natural and pass manual checks.
 
Using AI for guest posts is risky to pass manual review, content must be high-quality, unique and closely aligned with the host site’s audience.

For short term projects, using AI written guest posts can work fine. They’re affordable and can help you push rankings faster. But for long term projects or brand money sites, I’d definitely go with handwritten content.

If Google detects that the article is just a rewritten AI article with no real value, it’ll get removed from the search results, and that can hurt your site in the long run for sure.
