I'd recommend you do the SEO yourself, then feed it to your chosen AI

Why is everyone saying to do the SEO yourself?
When chatGPT was released I was drowned in posts and articles that said thsi is the end of SEO. What changed?

It might be the end of SEO in terms of content writing someday, but its not ideal for keyword research in detail. Better to do the research yourself, then it can pick up the ball and generate content more effectively, imo.
People are also saying generative AI is the death of SEO because something like Google's SGE could eventually replace a lot of the low content info sites out there, much the same way rich snippets tanked a bunch of sites by putting their best info right on the Google page.
