AI content

Yeah you definitely want to strip it. Meta is pushing those "made with ai" labels pretty hard now and they look at the metadata first to auto-flag stuff, especially if you use popular generators that inject c2pa tags. stripping it won't stop their visual scanner if the video looks super uncanny valley... but it stops the easy automated flags. just run your files through a quick ffmpeg command to clear all metadata in bulk before uploading. takes like two seconds and saves some headaches.

Yes! Also it’s very important in some cases to inject new metadata (fake).
For eg. I’m posting videos with my AI girls on social media (IG/Tiktok/FB etc). Some of those videos needs to be injected with fake metadata to looks like they are coming from a real device.

i'd probably test it both ways before spending time on it. metadata seems way less important than the actual content and how people interact with it

I wouldn’t spend much time changing metadata just for reach. It probably won’t make a big difference on its own. I’d focus more on the video itself, especially the hook, retention, and overall quality.

Should i change metadata from AI videos before posting them on IG?
or its dont give any results and i dont need waste my time?
however this is something that u would not want to spend a lot of time doing. this is bcz instagram places a lot of emphasis on the content itself, watchiing time, interaction nd engagement on the video. howeve if it takes u only a minute to change the metadata then go ahead.

yeah this can happen and i don’t think changing the meta data is worth wasting too much time on and also focus more on the video quality and the content.

The actual video, engagement and how people respond to it are likely to matter far more than making the file look like it came from a phone

There are softwares like TikFusion that can change meta data for large amount of videos; however I do want to note that Instagram is updating its AI and they are to some degree able to catch content that is duplicate. For now, just use Canva and make edits to the video; that should be good.

yeah honestly i would not waste time changing the metadata and just focus on the video quality and the content.

Don’t think changing metadata makes much difference. Better to spend that time improving the video itself, especially the hook and retention.

I do it as a last step. Strip and replace the data. I try and keep a consistent set of meta data across my influencer. Couldn’t tell you whether it helps but it certainly doesn’t seem to harm.

Changing video metadata is unlikely to make much difference to Instagram reach better to spend that time on the hook content quality and viewer retention, If the video performs well organically there is no need to overthink metadata.

Yes! it is essential. The more meticulous you are, the more effective the results will be. Nothing is a waste of time.

But to be honest i would not get fixated on this. they seems more concerned about how viewers behave than if you have tidied the real file data.

I wouldn't spend much time changing metadata unless you actually have evidence that it affects reach. I'd focus more on the hook, retention, caption and engagement since those are much more visible signals.

Change it to better be safe, As AI Accounts are already targeted by IG Algorithm to ban them anytime. We change all the metadata for literally each and every post we make and it has not given any issues at all.
