AI content still ranking for you guys?

AI-generated content still ranks on search engines, but how well it ranks depends on several factors. While AI can produce high-quality content that meets SEO criteria, search engines like Google are constantly updating their algorithms to prioritize content that offers genuine value to users. This means that simply creating content using AI isn't a guaranteed way to rank

I’ve been testing a mix of AI and edited content. Some pages rank fine, others just don’t move at all.
Hard to tell if it's quality or something else. What’s working for you right now?
Its hard to tell, since for my webpage I never write content alone anymore, its all LLM generated upon my input.

What I have found, some few get indexed though I do not have massive crawling speed granted by google, but when I request indexing, they are all, every single one, live and indexed the next day, and they even rank decently, I published 50 or so pages last week. So I guess it works?

I use AI alone on two webstites and there are pages that are ranking on page 1. I've been using AI alone for a bit over one year now. I created those websties one year ago.

Currently, the most effective approach is to combine AI-generated content with thorough human editing, focusing on on-page SEO, user intent, and reading experience, while prioritizing a specific niche and quality backlinks; relying solely on AI without editing rarely achieves sustainable rankings.

Content quality and content intent matters as AI content also works, But only when it is properly edited and formated.

I would not risk using AI content on a website that is designed to convert.

Not worth it.
You can use edited content from AI elsewhere.

I remember when everyone was using AI slop content before google brought down the algo against it
and the rankings plummeted. Now AI content can work if you tweak it enough, but is that really worth
the risk for a website you plan to build a business with?

My personal decision is, No.

AI content isn't not a problem. The problem is we just generate and paste in the blog/service page. Remember AI can't share personal or new experiences they just nurture the existing one. Google is craving for new experiences. So add some new ideas or experiences to it.

AI-generated content still ranks but only with support. It declines not because of the quality of the text, but because of a lack of authority. The same content without links stagnates, but with 5-10 good placements, it starts to move up.

Yeah, that’s a pretty common situation right now—especially with how unpredictable things have been lately.
From what I’m seeing, it’s usually not just about AI vs edited content. A lot of the time, pages that don’t move are missing one or two key signals rather than being “bad” overall.

Pure AI content is stalling in 2026 because search engines now heavily filter for Information Gain. The pages that are working for you likely have a unique structure or angle, while the dead ones are just rehashing existing search results—you must inject personal experience, proprietary data, or unique formatting to make them move.
