Wow, that is impressive. But please delete the website. It got registered 27th April last year and got a domain redirect from another cycling website with lots of links.

You need to understand that AI is a tool to help you write faster. People who use it don't just copy and paste the output, they work at it and make the article coherent. There is no harm in using it, it just has to be refined. Once that is done, and the search intent is taken care of, the article is as good as a human writer from scratch.

There are over a million articles. 116377 pages with 10 articles on each page. Definitely not human written articles.

Looks like they either did a blast towards their domain or idk... they gained all those backlinks within 2 months

I wouldn't say they did some blast of backlinks.
I can't see any automated soft backlinks.
There are several 301 from other expired domains.

Im not sure but if u notice the links, their traffic growth was followed with a big increase in links/referring domains in only 2 months, looks very weird to me. The 301 does explain how they managed to start ranking but not how they got all those links.
Ps: Im not talking about this specific domains just the AI websites in general that have been leaked in bhw over the past few months. The website in this thread actually has quite the high quality content somehow.

Yes.
The domain was registered before and had about 50-100 referring domains and a little traffic from 2015.
Domain was re-registered (caught) in 2021 May and then started the rise of referring domains and traffic.
Out of 7.2k referring domains only 250 comes from 301 other domains.
