Hey everyone,
Just want to get some market feedback on how all webmasters have been operating recently.

I run a content writing company and since the past couple of years we've seen a lot of our clients shift to AI written content but at the same time we've also seen additions to our client base and new clients have entered wanting only human written content.

So what's are the main market players doing these days? Is everyone in the mood to switch to AI or is there still space in the industry for human written content? Is content creation business even worth the hassle as we move forward?

Do share your feedback and opinions!

Hi,I'm not in this professional field, but I feel like AI-generated content sometimes lacks real creativity—it's mostly good for providing initial ideas. Especially for long-form articles, AI often falls short. I've noticed that some of the most lucrative content areas are fanfiction and advertising copy, where high-quality and prolific human writers are really cleaning up. So, I genuinely think it still comes down to what the client's specific needs are.

I've ordered from you before a few times. I'm in the middle of developing a tool that will cut the need to decide, and allow people to make real mind maps, that are then converted to vector databases, and retrieved onto their website via ai as articles.

Thats my vision for the future. Personally i much prefer making mind maps for generating your hand written content from, its easier to hand make them, compared with thrashing out an article yourself, and then AI? Ai is pathetic though. It doesn't have the personality. I think it will be widely accepted that in the future people will mark their territory, and say what is ai, and what is non ai.

I'll maybe see you in the future when i order a 1k article! does that count if i want 1k words organised on a mind map? :D (or you want to give me filler content that i could get an ai to give me? )

You will need a mix of both
Some will want ai
And others wants human

I agree with @GeeLark. The market is splitting. AI can work for product descriptions, generic news, etc. but keep humans for high value pieces (thought leadership, complex finance/legal). Personally, I only hire human writers for my site, AI can't replicate original analysis or regulatory nuance. There's definitely space for human writers, but the bar for quality is much higher now.

Human writing content are still very much in demand, Ai written contents don't usually rank

Well since dwell time on a page is a critical ranking factor it depends imo.

For example a technical audience might not like the em dashes or the way AI gen content sounds and feels.

Human written content is way better than ai content. in most cases we see that a lot of people make lots of content which are very much rubbish but a little bit of human touch could make it better.

A straight-talk, data + trend-based answer to where the content writing market is headed and whether there’s still real value in human writing vs AI content

I don't think that current artificial intelligence can completely replace human labor.

It's a 50-50 right now. Industries completely shifting to AI are already dealing with repetitive and generic output.

People also forget that AI can't train itself. Without human-written content, the quality of AI output will keep declining over time. Human writers aren't competing with AI. They are the pillars for AI content.
