AI Content Is Garbage And Search Engines Know It.

Interesting. I was wondering if they really proceed like this, because when you take site and look at its cached dates (ie last time google visited it) you can see their bots dont come everyday on a site, they usually come once a week, at least that's what I've noticed on average, and sometimes less. So my point is, if they only check a site once a week, it wont seem strange for them to see 100s of new articles created, so it shouldnt trigger a review?
What he's trying to say is that there is a "manual" review and I read somewhere that there is a way to find if Google guy has visited your website via GA (don't remember how though).

So, bots visiting your website can also be to index fresh content and caching. Don't confuse it with a manual review.

Hope this helps

they don't proceed like that. that's the point :)

@N3WY0RK that's too computationally expensive for Google and also can be fooled + there are other models than GPT.

you think their bots come on each website in the world everyday and see how many urls there is compared to the day before? Wouldnt it consume a lot of their ressources?

Your sitemap has date and time.
I believe G bot is advance, probably and maybe has ability to scan your site database mysql/sql.

No it's not. There are people succeed with ai content. And things are evolving, if you use free ai content and hope high quality article than it's your fault. You need to tweak and learn more. Any good ai this day is gated, either pay or closed tester.

As long as AI is used as a tool to generate content ideas and write article under a human supervision, it is great. Problem arise when people starts relying too much on it and start generating bulk content and posting in on their sites without any check and balances. I feel this is a misuse of the technology . The technology as such is not bad.

yep but you can fake dates in the sitemap (which I do), and make gg think you uploaded the files at a regular pace instead of one shot. Franckly I don't think they visit your site everyday they dont have the ressources for this. The cache date shows the last time they came. I think this date is more representative of the times they come on your site

AI is the future. And google knows it. And we know it too
The recent update is targeted to kill AI. Let us see.

I really...really hope they dont punish webmasters putting in a lot of effort to rank their websites

In my opinion..G has no reason to kill, as they get money for ads..Another thing, in some way, all the articles are duplicates(writed about the same things only in other words) or will be in the near future, because of - nothing really new in the world, nothing really to write about(as some member notice earlier)..everything the same(take evergreen niches for ex)..except some niches, science, medical, some products..the world is not spinning that fast, as articles, billions of them. Ai age is comming fully, its here already. And will be a lot of chances in the future, to make big bucks.

Bad content being Ranked on google makes google look untrustworthy in front of its audience. Isn't this why they brought Medic update, YMYL, EAT, etc? Google has its reasons to not look like a crappy SE.

AI writing does not mean crap content, as long as u put enough manual edit work.
However, most users try to automate everything via AI, which certainly outputs a big
pile of garbage. G will surely crack down on these low-quality pages sooner or later.

I think the discussion here is all about content quality, rather than AI tools or whatever tools u use for content writing.

I think its pretty simple..

As long as people read your content you are good to go. As long as it brings traffic, google Doesn't care. That's my Opinion

So, do you think Google is okay with AI as long as it brings FREE traffic to your website? That is totally against the Google Business model (Paid Ads). IMHO, Google never wants to promote (optimized) websites in SERPs. In other words, they care shit about Content Optimisation and only want us to Pay (Google Ads).

Organic Traffic equal money. Google cares about money. Any content that brings organic traffic brings money for google.
