AI content detection for in house writing tool

We built a tool for our agency that writes seo articles. WE write hundreds of articles using AI. We'd like to add a feature that checks the content in terms of it being detected as written by AI. Does anyone know of a good tool that can do that? That has an API so we can just click and button and get a score result or something like that?

honestly ai detection is mostly theater at this point... google says they don't care if it's ai as long as it's helpful content, but clients still paranoid so i get it. originality.ai has the most robust api and gives percentage scores, but it flags tons of human content as ai too.

gptzero and copyleaks also have apis but similar issues. real talk though - instead of detection just focus on humanizing... add personal anecdotes, specific examples, intentional imperfections. we push out 500+ articles monthly and ranking fine without any detection tools, just good editing workflow. but if you need it for client peace of mind, originality.ai api is prob your best bet even though it's expensive af

I agree detection is inconsistent, but if you need an API for client reporting, Originality.ai or Copyleaks are the usual options. Just keep expectations realistic since false positives are still common.

I've used Copyleaks and ZeroGPT before and found both to work quite well, but they're limited by character count for a free account. Sometimes I find their AI detection quite poor, even when I've tried paraphrasing things up, or sometimes it's exactly what I wrote.
