Hello everyone,

AI has taken over content creation, outreach, link building, and many other fields. It feels like we’ve entered a completely new era of SEO.

AI can now:
  • Write outreach emails in seconds.
  • Identify link prospects faster than any human.
  • Even generate entire linkable assets automatically.
But on the other hand, everyone’s using the same tools, sending similar messages, and following the same strategies.

So what’s really happening here?
Is AI a massive opportunity to scale smarter and faster or is it quietly killing authenticity and flooding the web with low-quality links that Google will soon devalue?

Would love to hear what other SEOs are seeing:
  1. Have AI tools helped boost your link-building ROI?
  2. Or are they making it harder to stand out and earn real editorial links?
If anyone here has used AI tools successfully, we’d love to hear your experience.

AI is a huge efficiency booster, but it’s all about how you use it. When paired with human creativity—unique angles, personalized outreach, and genuine value—it scales quality, not spam. The winners mix automation with authenticity.

AI has largely been a curse since Google now uses it as an excuse to steal people's content and take away traffic from small bloggers.

AI can boost your productivity, improve efficiency, but not going to replace human touch that required for SEO.

AI’s going evolve, contents are currently recycled as their source, but it wont be good for longterm. AGI is still there 20-30 years to achieve, so Content writing will have huge demand, and SEO as well.

Learn about the ai progress, understand the technicals, and be creative.

Honestly it’s a bit of both. The biggest issue is saturation too many templated emails and generic “guest post offers” make real outreach harder.

Those who still focus on providing unique value and earning quality mentions will stand out. Don't let the tools replace your creativity and strategic thought. It's about working smarter, not just scaling generic efforts.

A blessing for hard workers willing to keep working and get a handy assistant, but a curse for lazy people trying to automate everything and chase unrealistic goals

AI has made link building faster, but it's also led to a flood of generic outreach and low-quality content. It's a great tool when used wisely, but real results still come from personalized, human-driven strategies.

AI is both the rocket fuel and the landmine of modern SEO scale smart, keep human creativity in the mix, and you’ll outrun the flood of cookie-cutter content.

AI definitely has made massive impact on informational/ research based searches.

For local businesses, It still stays relatively the same compared to 3-4 years ago.

AI’s powerful, yeah, but it’s not a shortcut. It’s just a tool, and it’s only as good as the person using it. I can’t deny it definitely makes work simpler and saves time, but the ones actually standing out are the ones combining AI with real effort and smart strategy.

AI is a game-changer but only if used smartly. It can speed up research, outreach, and content creation, but overuse makes everything look the same. I use AI for efficiency, not replacement humans still build trust and creativity.

AI is a double-edged sword, great for scaling fast but can lead to oversaturation and lower quality if we’re not careful. It’s about balancing efficiency with authenticity.

Great topic!

AI has definitely changed the game — it’s made processes like outreach and content creation much faster and more efficient. However, I think the real advantage comes from how you use these tools. If everyone relies on the same prompts and templates, the output becomes repetitive and loses impact.

The best results I’ve seen come from combining AI efficiency with a human touch — using AI for research, structure, and ideas, but keeping personalization and creativity manual. That balance still makes outreach and link-building feel authentic and effective.

AI will never replace the human touch, but AI search result made the SEO harder, now people are lazy to open results of their search, they just get what they need without opening a site.

Well said, AI made the process easier and for seo progress IMO it made the ranking harder

but the biggest problem is, the visit to website is massive decreased by AI / AI search, and people already get the answer with AI tools

AI’s a tool — not a strategy. It boosts scale, but real gains still come from human judgment in link selection and angles. Automation without creativity just blends you in.

AI is a double-edged sword. It definitely speeds up link building and outreach, but I also have noticed it can make campaigns feel generic if overused. The real win still comes from combining AI efficiency with authentic and personalized outreach

It's becoming really difficult to stand out and obtain genuine editorial links due to AI. Due to the fact that it has significantly reduced the bar for poor outreach. AI-generated pitches that are shallow and unoriginal are flooding editors. Your outreach and content must be ten times better in order to stand out from the competition.

Both - id say more of a blessing b/c TODAY there is leverage between what clients know and what you can deliver...this wont last forever thou
