AI Article Ranks? Or does it not?

AI content can rank, but it’s very easy to get filtered if everything sounds the same.


The sites that last are the ones that add something unique — better structure, clearer answers, or deeper coverage. If your content feels like every other AI article, it won’t hold rankings for long.


Focus on being more useful, not just faster.

There is absolutely no issues with ai generated article. Just edit your articles in such a way that they are different from yoour competitor while providing some real value to your audience.

Articles always rank but used useful strategy like Listicle.

In my opinion, it depends. We have some websites which has blogs and we publish ai generated articles there. Some of them ranks very well, it is not very important if the article is written by ai, it is important what competition you have and what authority you have.

Yes, AI content can rank, and it can actually perform very well if it's done correctly. When I say "done correctly," I really mean doing proper keyword research first and taking the time to review and refine the article before publishing it. If I'm using AI, I'll usually start in Ahrefs' Keywords Explorer, enter a broad topic like roofing, landscaping, or HVAC, and filter for question-based keywords. From there, I'll look for questions with decent search volume and relatively low competition, then use AI to create an 800+ word SEO-friendly article around that topic. Like I said, though, you can't just copy and paste it; you have to guide the AI, fact-check it, and massage the content so it actually provides value.

AI generated content isn't the problem low-quality, generic content is.

Use AI as a drafting tool, then add original insights, real examples, proper internal linking, and keep updating your content over time. That's much more likely to build stable rankings than publishing AI articles without review.

Yeah, I get that. But even the best AI content still needs a human touch at the end refining the tone, adding real insights, and making it sound natural. Also, AI works best when it’s fed with strong, manually written content in the first place.

Yes, AI articles can rank, but not simply because they were written with AI. In my experience, what matters is the quality of the content, how well it matches the user's search intent, and whether it provides useful and accurate information.
